Convenient and works great!
I run my own bar where we used to serve peanuts to the customers while they drank and lounged around. That was until I ran into this old fashioned popcorn maker on the site! This thing makes enough popcorn for the whole bar with one batch after about three minutes. The customers seem to love it, I no longer have to clean up the messy peanuts shells off the floor AND whenever I make a batch, the stench of booze gets replaced with buttery popcorn! Another big plus is that I can wheel it to the patio when we have events outside.

My wife and daughters got this machine for me Christmas before last. A bit cumbersome to put together; a second pair of hands really helps, but having a standalone cart and not using up counter or table space is a significant benefit. The biggest disadvantage I can see with this machine is that it spoils you for good popcorn. Popcorn from the grocery store just doesn't cut it after you've made some very good small to medium kernel popcorn. Getting the right oil makes a big difference, too. Hot oil and salt makes cleanup a mandatory regular affair, and the unit is relatively easy to get clean. The warming lamp actually keeps popcorn reasonably warm and edible for several hours. Just bought another one for my office.

While a nice decoration, the internal motor and light housing arrived completely in pieces. I should have been worried when I saw the big orange insert warning to call the company and not to return the product if any pieces are missing or damaged. They clearly expect the problems with the quality control they apparently skipped. Do not buy!
