The popper was a Christmas gift, however it was plugged in the same day and the element burned out within 1 minute of plugging it in. Amazon was really good in getting us a replacement within a few days. The second one is working, but the paint is peeling off of it. It does not pop the kernels as well as our old popper.

2.) It looks good

I really like popcorn. I was totally psyched to use this popper, and the fact that it air-popped made me love it more. It's easy to use and easy to clean. However, from the first use the popcorn went flying everywhere! I placed a good-sized bowl underneath the slide/opening shoot and it caught about 3/4 of the popcorn. The second time, I balanced a very tall popcorn bucket underneath the shoot and still, popcorn and unpopped kernels were flying everywhere. There are a lot more unpopped kernels being thrown than actual popcorn, which is a pain to find and clean up and to get hit with. After the money I spent, I won't give it up, but I think this is the most disappointing thing I bought all year. The popcorn that does land in the bowl is good, I think it has a slight staleness to it, but my friends think it tastes especially fresh. Maybe I'm a little bitter by the time I get to eating it. Also, on the second use, the machine just suddenly stopped. I wasn't sure if it overheated or what (the popper gets extremely hot) but it did begin working again.
I bought this trying to save money and calories versus the microwave kind. I think I might keep an Orville bag of Natural around just in case.

I got this for my husband despite the low feedback and was super excited for it. I was willing to take a few missle launched kernels. However I was GRAVELY dissapointed recently when my husband plugged it in to use for the first time.
I NEVER worked, he put the corn in and it started to smell burning, it wasn't even turning.
I am SO upset it isn't even funny. I have contacted the company which didn't even have a PHONE number for customer service, so we will see if I ever hear from them and if they rectify the situation.
I will update it if they do....

Perhaps I bought a dud because upon plugging this in for the first time there was smoke followed by flames. I had to quickly unplug it and throw it in the sink!

I'm too scared to buy another one, so if you're brave enough to try it out good luck to you. Until then I'll stick to my tried and true Presto air popper.

5.) Piece of Junk
Reviewed by: PT CA

I can't believe someone actually designed, tooled up and mass produced this as an operational popcorn popper. What a pile. The popcorn exit spout is not very deep but real wide so a round bowl only catches about half the popcorn that exits and the rest goes on the countertop. Doesn't matter, as it turns out, because only about half the kernals you put in the machine get popped and the rest just spin around in the machine until the thing overheats and shuts itself off. Before I take this POS to the dump I'm going to run over it with a truck so no one else will be tempted to try to use it!

6.) Very Entertaining, But Worthless

I was so excited to find this adorable popcorn popper and it was red to match my kitchen. I unpacked the unit, placed it in an honorable corner on my counter top and couldn't wait to savor the magnificent popcorn. I felt like the little boy and his Red Rider BB gun at Christmas. I read all the directions. I carefully measured the popcorn leveling the cap as stated in the directions. I called my husband in to watch the performance and boy did it perform! Hot unpopped kernels went all over the place. The popped corn bounced out of the bowl and onto the counter and floor. You couldn't get close to the unit to turn it off because of the hot kernels. Less than half of the corn popped. I couldn't help but laugh at the situation. It was like Jane Fonda at the copier in 9 To 5. There is a reason the instructions say to stand back at least 36" and they mean it. Needless to say, I put it back in the box and returned it for the old dependable Presto corn popper. Recommended for entertainment and massive cleanup, not popcorn.

Bought this model at a brick & mortar retailer before seeing all the negative reviews here on Amazon-- won't do THAT again!! Never got a chance to plug the popper in: As the instructions directed, I was wiping it off before using it for the first time, and the red paint started to come off!! Kept rubbing, kept getting paint on my damp paper towel! Put it right back in the box and returned it to the store.

I saw this machine on display in a local Bed Bath & Beyond store and liked it very much. I didn't buy it right away because I wanted to sleep it overnight. Then asked my husband to buy it for the kids as a Christmas gift as I couldn't forget about it. It turned out to be a big dissapointment. As many people have said, it doesn't pop even half of the kernels and the popped fly all over the place even I put a wide, large bowl righ under the openning. I first thought my kernels were not good. I tried then 3 different kinds that all did the similar things. Will return to the store. Come here just want to see other people' experience. I am with most of you who gave 1 star.

9.) WORST POPPER EVER

I bought this popper as a healthier then microwave popcorn. I eat popcorn every day. All 7 to 10 times I used this machine it threw out more unpopped corn the it popped. I even used a bowl twice as wide as the popper, and had more kernels fly all over the kitchen the popped corn in the bowl.

Time to have this machine shredded. The worst appliance I have ever owned or used in my 46 years.

I'm bummed because it was perfect for our movie room. Trust me, Look elswhere...

I do not have much to add that has not already been said! For years I had the basic Presto hot air poppers and it worked very well. When that popper finally died after many many years of service, my husband wanted one of these nostalgic ones for looks. My son and I tried it out this evening and I was so dissapointed. There was barely enough popcorn for the two of us, partly due to the small capacity, and partly due to the large amount of unpopped kernels. I did not want to wait the required 15 minutes to pop another batch. I should have packed it back up and taken it back as soon as I read that in the manual, but thought it would surely pop enough for our small family. I was wrong!!! The reviewer who thought the kernels tasted stale was right on the money. I used a brand new container of Orville Redenbacher kernels, so I know it had to be the popper and not the corn! As others mentioned despite the giant bowl I had underneath kernels were flying everywhere. Needless to say this was twice the price of the old faithful Presto. I plan to take it back as it is basically useless. I have never reviewed a product good or bad before, but am so tired of buying things that don't work right, that I had to add my voice to the chorus. Do not buy this!!

We were so excited when we first unpacked our beautiful Nostalgia Electrics popcorn popper ... ah but it's beauty was only skin deep. What a disappointment. 14.) Dangerous!!

If I could give this product a zero I would. I purchased 2 to give as gifts and one for my family. It shot hot, unpopped kernels out of the top, even though the cap was on, the force of it knocked the cap off and most of the kernels never hit the oversized bowl I placed underneath. I had hot kernels all over the kitchen. The force with which the hot kernels flew out was dangerous as my excited children waited for their popcorn. They had to run away from the machine. More than 3/4 of the kernels were left unpopped. The others which were given as gifts, the motors broke on the first try. It looks nice, but that is about it. I am returning all three.

This product looked great, plastic, but great for my old red kitchen. It was very simple and easy to use, but it simply doesn't work right. More than half of the kernels remained unpopped and what did pop went everywhere despite having a large bowl under the opening. The worse thing was the unpopped kernels were extremely hot and they flew everywhere as well, burning whoever was in the "line of fire". This is one of the worse products I've seen.

The popcorn popper looked great in my kitchen. Unfortunately, that is the only positive comment I can make. Maybe half of the corn actually popped and even what did would bounce all over the countertop. Also, the instructions say to wait 10 minutes between each popping. With the small amount actually popped, it could take an hour to get a good bowl of popcorn.

Sadly I had to return, it was too expensive for looks alone. Nostalgia RHP-625 Hot-Air Retro Popcorn Maker

I got this for Christmas and was excited about using it for the first time. I read the instructions thoroughly and followed them to a T. This machine started shooting un-popped kernels out the vents on the sides and front beside the actual shoot. I would say about one third of the kernels popped and that's being generous. But what was really great was that some of the un-popped kernels started popping while they were in the bowl and that would throw the few popped ones out onto the floor which made the whole experience hilarious. I cleaned everything up and did not tell my wife about how it popped, I let her experience it for her self. This gave me even more amusement, but I fear not enough to keep it though.

As some others have said, it really is amazing that they sell this thing as a popcorn maker and not as a novelty joke.

The so called Topical Fat Loss
Gels, creams and lotions are often believed to cause topical fat loss, which may become an alternative to liposuction. Skincare products have to be massaged in the skin so that they can reach the fat deposits beneath and break them down. Ingredients like aminophylline, forskolin, DMAE and diiodol-thyronine are used by most companies that manufacture products for topical weight loss.

When these chemicals come into contact with the fat cells, the adipose layers will dissolve. The look of the skin after the treatment could be a reason to worry here, although topical fat loss supporters say that the softness and smoothness of the skin do not change. Creams for topical fat loss are very expensive but lots of people are willing to try them.

Heated debates are impossible to stop when it comes to discussing the actual efficiency of topical fat loss products.

Testosterones and fat loss
Testosterone is commonly associated with male sexual health and body building, but studies indicate that it plays an important part in the metabolism of fat as well. Men and women who have a low testosterone level are usually predisposed to overweight. Testosterone also acts against weight gain in support of the HGH action too, besides some other chemical functions that it plays at the cellular level.

The best way to use testosterone for fat loss is to first determine whether your overweight is in any way related to an imbalance of hormones. And only a specialist can pass a diagnosis on the basis of the tests. The right course of action can only be decided afterwards.

Quick fat loss - is it possible
Quick fat loss is possible thanks to some natural remedies Mother Earth generously offers. But before going a bit further into their discussion, we should mention something about the concept of 'quick fat loss'. A weight loss process puts a lot of pressure on the body system, and you should not push the limits of the body with crash diets and abuse of supplements. Quick fat loss ought to remain safe fat loss!

Green tea

Drunk daily, green tea prolongs life, fights old age, prevents constipation and accelerates the metabolism. Traditional Chinese medicine often relies on green tea for good results with quick fat loss.

How does Food Lovers work
Food Lovers Fat Loss system is a weight loss program invented by the famous weight loss coach, Robert Ferguson. As the very name suggests, you will enjoy the food you want and still be successful in burning fat and keeping it away. Users describe the program as effortless and for very good reasons. Here are the essentials of the Food Lovers Fat Loss system.

There are two phases corresponding to two weight loss stages: one lasts for 21 days and the other for 28.

You will discover the mechanisms of metabolism and gain control over your body.

Find out about the fast carbs and slow carbs. No healthy diet is possible without carbohydrates, but you need to distinguish between those that turn into easy to burn energy and those that get stored in the form of fat deposits.

The Food Lovers Fat Loss system will not necessarily change what you eat but rather how you eat.

The stimulation of weight loss further works by periodical detoxification of the body system.

Food lovers review
Non-invasive and flexible, the Food Lovers Fat Loss program has received lots of positive ratings from users. Chances of coming across a very good Food Lovers Fat Loss review online are incredibly high. There is no other program that could offer such flexibility. Normally, any good reference to a program has an advertising impact on the reader.

A Food Lovers Fat Loss review should stress out the features of the program, the stages it includes and the materials and tools used for its support. Average weight loss results could also be mentioned.

Food lovers program
The efficiency of restrictive weight loss diets have been greatly questioned with the appearance of the Food Lovers Fat Loss program by Robert Ferguson. While many people suspect the system for being a scam, the success rate seems to be very high. The Food Lovers Fat Loss program is promoted as part of a kit that contains various tools to assist you with the weight loss effort. Each of the items will be put to work when going through the two stages of the program.

Phase one is 21 day long, while the second is 28. Apparently, you can eat anything you like without any fitness concerns.

Physical workout and fat loss
Physical activity is the number one condition of fat loss. Perhaps we resent spending long hours at the gym, we may hate cardio exercises and aerobic sessions, we could even try to develop fat loss workouts at home, but the truth is that 90% of dieters act chaotically when it comes to training for weight loss. People lack information on how to create efficient fat loss workouts, how often and how long to train. As for the use of gym machines, mistakes about there too.

Not even professionals manage to come to a common set of valid rules for weight loss training. Some trainers say that there are very rapid sets of exercises precisely designed as fat loss workouts, while others prefer to elaborate on the benefits of traditional training with two or three sessions weekly.

Fat loss supplements - do you need them?
The market has been flooded with thousands of fat loss supplements which only indicates an alarming reality: too many people are overweight.

How much can we blame food?
Does the sedentary lifestyle explain it all?
Are we that busy that we don't get time to go to the gym?
Has indolence become the enemy of our health?

Unfortunately 70% of the world's population suffers from one of the above mentioned problems, and no criticism seems too hard. We live in an age where everything happens fast and we expect high speed from everything. Can we explain how our bodies work by the same rules? And fat loss supplements correspond to this rush for fitness that we feel incapable to achieve otherwise.

How will fat loss supplements work for you?

Ask yourself this simple question and start reading on the topic. There is no other way to tell good fat loss supplements apart from potentially harmful products.

Fat loss secrets - are there any?
There is a constant rush for the fat loss secret; this formula actually sells thousands of magazines, weight loss programs and supplements every year. Why? The truth is that there are so many diets, programs, weight loss systems, and solutions, that overweight people keep trying one after the other without too many chances of success. Here is the plain truth: you make a big mistake by hunting down one bit fat loss secret. There is no such thing; the problem is ignorance, little self-awareness and incorrect life choices. And here is why.

The common tendency is to treat weight loss superficially; people lose faith in a program when they don't see results.

Fat loss programs
The fact that we have more than just one fat loss program to choose could prove very confusing at times. Most people start researching on the Internet before taking up one system or another. But instead of focusing on one fat loss program in particular, let us think what advantages result from choosing a certain fat loss system instead of some regular diet .

A fat loss program results from professional experience in the field as the author can be either a weight loss trainer or a specialist with medical degrees. Knowledge and experience in the domain thus become essential for the successful creation of a fat loss program. The advantage of a fat loss program consists not only in the professional or scientific background, but also in the holistic approach to weight loss.

By sticking to a fat loss program you will eventually discover where you make mistakes in the approach to weight loss.
