I've been using this great product for 6 years. The concentrator is meant to be used several times. Use it without oil for longer life and less calories. If your concentrator burns and cracks, turn the power level on your microwave to 90%, and pull it out as soon as the popping stops. The concentrator should last 5-6 batches this way.

I am glad to see that we are able to purchase the concentrators here on Amazon! YAHOO!! This popcorn popper is the BEST around!...and the secret may be in the concetrator insert! I have owned several microwave popcorn poppers and air poppers...and, this is the BEST I have ever had. The kernels are always light and fluffy! MUCH cheaper than buying boxes of microwave popcorn!

I don't use oil or add butter, so you do get more uses out of the concentrator. Somebody stated in the reviews that these were to be used only once...this is false. As stated in the manual, "Although the PowerCup® concentrator is a disposable part, it is designed for multiple uses. The number of uses will vary from microwave to microwave with up to 12 batches when using the popper with oil and up to 24 batches when using popper without oil. You will know it is time to replace the concentrator when either you are getting more unpopped kerns than usual or if the top layer of the concentrator is cracked or torn."

The concentrators work great in my Presto Orville Redenbacher's Microwave Popper. The best part about the order is that Amazon had them. I went to the Orville Redenbacher site and they only have the poppers. Well the popper won't work without the concentrator so you'd think they'd sell both. I even went to some retail outlets and they didn't have them either. Way to go Amazon!!!

These little power cups are hard to find in the supermarket. I like to fix popcorn using the Presto micro-wave popcorn popper which requires the use of thes powercup concentrators. I was delighted to find them at Amazon and they make fixing popcorn for the kids and family a breeze. I use a bit of olive oil when popping to give the popcorn a real earthy flavor.

I have had the Presto PowerCup microwave popcorn maker for a number of years. I was very happy to find the concentrators at Amazon because they are difficult to find in the stores. By careful examination of various vendors, I was able to find the right combination of quantity vs. shipping costs. They arrived in excellent condition and on time.

This is the best pop corn popper I've owned. When I couldn't find the powercup concentrators at the local stores I put the popper on the shelf and tried several other versions of microwave and hot air poppers. Nothing provided the crisp pop corn like the PowerCup. When I found the concentrators on Amazon my life was made complete once again.

Great price, free shipping, am good to go for a long while. If you want to lose weight, eating plain popcorn will certainly help and the concentrator pops all or nearly all kernals. You will need to purchase the Presto Corn Popper, and use a concentrator, which usually are good for at least 5 popping time.

I've owned this popper for several years now. I bought it primarily because I am one that keeps my fat intake(all kinds including oil)to 10%, or less, per day.

It is my opinion that there is not a better popper on the market for those that want to pop their corn, sans oil and salt, than this Presto Popper.

As for the Concentrators? I don't know what kind of heat some are using in their microwaves to pop their corn. I have been able to use these Concentrators over and over and over again without the need to replace them. Minimum my guess would be at least 10-15 times, if not more.

For those that are not concerned about their fat intake, I think they should stick to traditional type of popping(a stove top stir-pop maker). They appear to me to be the ones unhappy with this Presto Popper.

If you want good popcorn, with no oil or salt, this is the one. For those that want something to add to it, pour the popcorn into a bowl after it is popped, and use "butter spray", on it and you can have the best of both worlds.

Use these to make popcorn without having to worry about what's in it (hydrogenated oils, heavy oils/fats, etc.) You can reuse these for 5-8 batches and use whatever oil that you want (or none.)

By the way....much cheaper to use these (need bowl/popper too) than the bags.

I'm not a popcorn professional, but I do eat a lot of it. I think, though not 100% positive, that these concentrators do make more popcorn. Not fluffier though, just less unpopped kernals. I also use them a few times. would be nice if they could be washed and reused.

I love my Presto popper, but despaired of finding a good, reasonably priced source for the concentrators. Web searches turned up sellers at $3.50 per pack, but delivery for two packs (eight each) was $8, bringing the cost of a bowl of popcorn up to more than $1! I was so pleased to discover them in a sale at Amazon -- I am stocked up for at least six months now!

As part of my every day diet, I love to eat no fat, no oil based popcorn. Whenever I get the munchies this really does the trick for me. And the Presto unit with the concentrators pops a lot of popcorn with very few unpopped kernels. You do have to keep watch on it and not let it pop more than four minutes at least in my microwave. Once you notice that the top is rising, then it is time to stop it! But yes, I love it. John

I had been unable to find the "Powercup" for the PowerPop microwave popper. I even bought an additional total unit just to get the cups. It really makes good popcorn and seemed strange that sellers of the unit did not stock the replacemrnt parts which are designed wear out. While looking for a specific book on Amazon.com I found the needed parts are available there. Both the book and the cups were reasonably priced. My first on-line purchasing experience was a success. Thanks.

Absolutely the best popcorn system available. You can find these Power Cups for very little here on Amazon and get them shipped a bunch at a time. My husband is on his second popper in 10 years. Don't let anyone talk you out of this excellent popper because of the cost of these items. They're not that expensive, and the results are worth it.

This Presto Popper and its Power Cups beat ALL poppers I've ever had. I am 81 and started popping in a long handle shaker pan over the burning coals of our fireplace. I still have a fireplace but go the modern way now and Presto Popper with Power Cups is tops with its pops. Gotta try it!

This presto popcorn popper makes the BEST popcorn ever. Even though you have to buy replacement disks, it's still cheaper and better than buying prepackaged microwave popcorn with all of it's added salt, shortening and preservatives.

That's it!!

I use Butter flavor Pam spray and a little salt. Delicious!!!

These power cup concentrators for the Orville Reddenbacher microwave popper make up a great system to pop a lot of fluffy popcorn with little to no oil. I use them to pop microwave popcorn, which I don't normally care for, and which has problems popping correctly in my small microwave - every kernel pops and tastes delicious with no fumes or funny tastes. The vendor was also terrific - I received the product quickly and at a great price!

I was looking for a popcorn popper for the microwave and saw this one. I wanted to get away from the bags but still have the convenience of the microwave. This makes the greatest air-popped popcorn and doesn't waste any because it almost all pops. After it pops, I just spray with a little butter-flavored spray and shake on some salt and have a fast, low-calorie snack. You can use it with oil and flavorings if that's more to your liking. This is one of my favorite purchases and I highly recommend it.

I've been using my Presto microwave popper for about 4 years now. I was worried about needing disposable supplies because products are discontinued all the time. I've never seen the Power Cup Concentrators in any local stores and I always order them from Amazon. I rarely use oil in the popper so each paper cup lasts a long time. I dislike bagged microwave popcorn and all of the additives so I don't mind needing to buy these cups in order to make my popcorn. Sometimes I need to add just a few dollars to my Amazon order to qualify for free shipping so I'll add a package of these to meet the $25 requirement.

I throw them out when I notice the top layer is peeling and the surface gets too brown.

My husband and I have used the Presto Popcorn popper for years and really enjoy eating our popcorn this way. We found it hard to find the concentrators for our popper, so we tried searching on Amazon and found it, Yeah! This is my Sunday afternoon treat/dinner. Love my popcorn and it doesn't use a lot of fat since it is popped in the microwave. Of course, you can add all the butter you want to it after it is popped, but I don't. Our son gave us this microwave popper one year at Christmas which has been about 20 yrs.ago and it is still working.

With this Presto microwave popper, you can choose to pop in oil or without oil. You can add butter to popcorn that was not popped in oil, to eliminate some fat. 1/3 cup of plain popcorn kernels fills the entire popper and almost no unpopped kernels are left. In my microwave, the popcorn is done in less then 3 minutes. Some may vary.

I own one, this purchase was a gift for my mom and she loves it, especially since she can pop smaller amounts if she desires.

I am extremely glad to find these items available at Amazon since neither Target nor WalMart have continued to carry either the popcorn poppers or the concentrators. The popper and concentrators seem to work better for me in my microwave than other microwave popcorn poppers.

I noticed in several reviews that people complained that the concentrators did not work well for continued use--well, there is a reason for this--they're only intended to be used ONE TIME. This is the downside of the product, so yes, as one person put it, stock up!

We stopped using our Presto Popper and used microwave popcorn for a while. When we switched back to the Presto Popper, we really noticed the difference! The popcorn tastes so much better. The only complaint I have about the Popper and these concentrators is the difficulty of purchasing them, as well as the Amazon price. I just saw them at Walmart for <$2.00 for an 8-pack, and I paid almost 4x that here.

The first few 'floor mats' I got for my Presto Popper bowl when they first came out were VERY durable ... 1 got 25 to 30 batches out of each one. After about the first year, the durability declined sharply, and I now only get about 10 batches before the plastic film surface begins breaking up and flaking off. It is still the most convenient and my favorite method of popping a very generous portion of popcorn. One Caveat: the Power Pop is NOT for 'neat freeks' ... it is very hard to clean thoroughly, but I don't bother. I just keep it tucked up on an out of the way shelf.

The Presto Popcorn maker states you must use the PowerCup Concentrators. I made a lot of mistakes my first couple of weeks using this unit which destroyed the PowerCups very quickly. I found to get the longevity they say you can, I let the PowerCups cool down after use and then I take a dry cloth and wipe out and I'm done. Rinsing with water seems to make them breakdown faster and the biggest thing is to really watch your popping time. As soon as the popping slows down take out of the microwave. If you burn your popcorn you are also scorching the PowerCups which will also brakdown fast.

I wouldn't use my Presto Power Pop without these. However, I do find that they wear out after only 5-6 uses with just a moderate amount of oil (1 tablespoon or so). Buy in bulk to cut costs!

This concentrators work with but they are grossly overpriced! Direct from the manufacturer they sell for $1.58 for an 8 pack. I bought three and only $2.00 shipping. Some times I just don't understand Amazon's pricing.

These really do pop all the kernels and must be used with the microwave Presto Power Pop. However, they blacken and crack after only a few uses, if you use oil. If you don't, they break after the first use.

I have had my popper for about two years now and I LOVE it. The only problems I seem to have is the difficulty of finding the concentrator refills in stores. I usually get about 5 uses out of the popper before I notice that there are more unpopped kernels and have to replace the liner. Overall, it is a very quick and easy way to make popcorn that does not require it to be dripping in oil and salt like microwave popcorn usually is.

I wanted a good, simple, microwave corn popper. I got one. But it requires these PowerCup Concentrators, which keeps you coming back to buy them. It's not that they're expensive...it's just that they are too expensive for the aggravation of having to buy them! That having been said, I get "my revenge" by managing to get several uses out of each & every one of them even though I do not dry pop my corn. (This is simply a matter of my preference.) I like a bit of oil on my corn & to that end I use pure Canola put in my Misto and then I spray it on the corn after putting it on the PowerCup Concentrator. I do this because I found out by trial and error that pouring oil on the corn saturates the Concentrator, which is paper after all, and it doesn't last long before it starts scorching and not popping the corn. If you don't have, and don't want to buy, a Misto oil dispenser, Brand name,Olivio, sells a spray-on "butter" made primarily from olive oil that is pretty good also. Look for it in the refrigerated section. Of course, you can always dry pop and add melted butter afterwards. That'll undoubtedly make the Concentrators last longer yet. Enjoy!

According to the manual that came with the popper, these cups last for anywhere from 12 to 24 uses. Well I beg to disagree... After trying it with a tiny bit of oil to start, the cup was lucky to last for 4 uses before just to the left of center would burn out and leave pieces of Power Cup in the popcorn. Now that I have switched to air popping, it lasts about 5 - 6 times (at the very most).

I am not sure how someone can get these things to last for more then 6 times. I have tried with less then the required 1/3 cup of popcorn, with more, and with the exact amount and cannot ever get these things to last what they say they will. You can always tell when it is about to give out because one part of it will start to turn brown, then the next time you use it it will have a crack or hole in it.

Yes it is cheaper then buying the boxed stuff and much healthier, but they really need to update the amt of uses per cup, because it simply isn't true.

I chose the concentrators that were $8.31 thinking this package had a larger supply (it did not state how many in the package)since they can be difficult to find in the local stores. What arrived was 1 pack of 8 concentrators for that cost? Please clarify this on your web-site. Love the Presto popper that I ordered with it however.

I purchased the Presto PowerCup Concentrators for my Microwave Popper because I can no longer find them at the store. Since I saw that Amazon carried the and I had an account with them, I bought what I thought was a multi-pack becasue of the price. When the product arrived, I was a amazed to discover that what I thought was two orf three packs was only one.

I returned the product and got them at the manufacturer, where I was charged a third of Amazon's price.

I was given a Presto popcorn maker that you use in the microwave. Since it's easier than stove-top popcorn, and less greasy than microwave popcorn, I do like the output. But why, why do we have to keep buying these paper cups? Surely they could have made reusable plastic ones? This is an example of a throwaway society run amok. My advice is, steer clear of these things.

Do they work yes. A 15 pack of good mircrowave popcorn at Wal-Mart is $2.78, which works out to $0.18 a bag. Even with free shipping these things work out to $0.25 each, and doesn't include the popcorn, oil, butter, or salt. They work, but what a rip off. I'm returning the popcorn popper tomorrow. I was hoping to find these for about $0.10 each in bulk, but I didn't. If I had I would keep the popper.
